Three 300 games rolled last week – The Morning Sun

Last season, due to COVID, the leagues were only just starting at this point in the season.

If you are feeling ready, bowling is ready for you.

Almost every league at Riverwood Lanes has started, but that doesn’t mean it’s too late to participate… far from it. The search for sponsors, additional team members, substitutes, young bowlers, etc. continues.

REMEMBER: It’s almost NEVER too late to join a bowling league!

My goal this week is the Mid-MI Travel league (scratch). (Scratch says this league has no handicaps to even out the differences in bowling ability. What you play is what you get! This unique league plays once a month on Sundays in a different city every month at Starting Sunday, September 26. COMPLETE A TEAM COUPLE The scheduled teams, bowling centers and Sunday date played in this center.

The league starts at 10 a.m. and is played for six games.
1. Ionia (The Bowling Alley) – CE Sunday 09/26/2021

2. Remus (Remus Lanes) – Sunday 10/24/2021

3. Sanford (Northern Lanes) – Sunday 07/11/2021

4. Lakeview (Alley Cat Bar & Grill) – Sunday 12/12/2021

5. Sheridan (Sheridan Lanes) – Sunday 23/01/2022

6. Belding (Hillcrest Lanes) – Sunday 02/20/2022

7. Ithaca (Pins) – Sunday 03/20/2022

8. Mt Pleasant (Riverwood Lanes) – Sunday 04/10/2022

local notables:
Last Thursday, Brandon Kozitzki accomplished something he had NEVER done before… his first CAREER 300 GAME! Plus, on Tuesday, Chad Gutzman added one more to his 23 “official” USBC certified games, and then on Monday night Will Kelley launched his very first 300 game at Riverwood Lanes!
(His fourth USBC 300 game in his career!) Well done, gentlemen, well done!

Meet “on the slopes” at Riverwood Lanes during the 2021-2022 season.

Stay safe, stay healthy. Mid-Michigan finds its bowling needs in Riverwood, Gateway and Pins!
