The ball bearing competition takes place at the local YMCA.

LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WKBT) – The YMCA of the La Crosse Region has partnered with Coulee Region Logrolling to host the Rusty Ankle Ball Bearing Tournament.
This tournament is the first official United States Log Rolling Association tournament since the start of the pandemic.
With the YMCA’s new mask policies, vaccinated fans and competitors do not have to wear masks.
Regardless of experience, this tournament is open to all ages seven and up and all skill levels.
A national wood roller champion said the event is great for kids to get active and have fun.
âKeeping kids busy is so important for their mental and physical health. The logbook is a great way for kids to do this because it’s athletic, it’s community sports, and kids love to do it and be together and love to compete, âsaid Livi Pappadopoulos.
She also said that there will be several ball rolling events this summer in many different locations in the region.
