But their hopes of bringing him to Hillsborough may well crumble, with Cardiff apparently hoping to strike a deal.
Mick McCarthy’s side are said to want to draw the forward to the Welsh capital for next season, and the lure of league football could prove to be a big factor for the out-of-league striker.
Hudlin moved to Solihull Moors last October from Solihull United, Division Two of the Midland League, and has since caught the attention of many big clubs.
He scored 10 goals in all competitions for the Moors last season, and the National League team should have a tough job trying to keep him this summer.
