OnePlus Watch Cobalt Limited Edition launched: price, specs and more

OnePlus Watch Cobalt Limited Edition was launched in China. The original OnePlus watch launched in March with a round dial and a sleek design. The Special Edition features a more robust design and construction than the original model, but has the same specifications and features. The price of the new OnePlus Watch Cobalt Limited Edition starts from CNY 1,599, which is around Rs 18,200 in India. At the moment, there is no word on the global debut of the new OnePlus Watch edition.

The Cobalt Limited Edition of the OnePlus watch features a gold cobalt alloy case and a leather strap. Comparatively, the original model comes with a stainless steel body. The strap material used on the Standard Edition is fluoroelastomer. The screen of the new edition is protected by a sapphire crystal, considered extremely strong and resistant to scratches. It has a Mohs rating of 9 for hardness. The rest of the functionality is similar to the original model.
It contains a 1.39 inch screen and a round dial. Users have 4 GB of built-in storage, which would allow users to store around 500 songs. The laptop supports 110 training modes, including walking, jogging, running, marathon, outdoor cycling, indoor cycling, freestyle training, swimming, elliptical, cross trainer, cross trainer, rower, badminton, mountaineering, outdoor orienteering, yoga and cricket, among others. The OnePlus watch also supports SpO2 monitoring, stress detection, breathing, quick heart rate alert, and sedentary reminder.
It comes with a standalone GPS with four positioning satellites. Users can check their health data in the OnePlus Health app. With the OnePlus Watch, you can make hands-free calls, access app notifications, and control the camera shutter. Additionally, OnePlus phone users also have direct access to Zen Mode and Gallery. Users can also control the music from the smartwatch.
The OnePlus watch can also serve as a controller for OnePlus TV. Users can control volume, browser through content using the watch. The watch can also detect when the person fell asleep and then turn off the TV. The watch may also lower the volume of the TV during an incoming call. The device can also play music wirelessly through a Bluetooth connection.
OnePlus claims its watch can last up to two weeks on a single charge. It supports Warp Charge technology. The smartwatch is rated IP68 which means it is dust and water resistant.
