Jeev Milkha Singh Invitational October 13 at CGC, Says PGTI : The Tribune India

The fifth edition of the Jeev Milkha Singh Invitational event will be played at Chandigarh Golf Club (CGC) from October 13-16, PGTI confirmed when announcing its annual schedule. The event will carry a purse of Rs 1.5 crore.
Prior to this championship, Panchkula Golf Club will host the TATA Steel PGTI Players Championship at Panchkula Golf Club from October 4th to 7th. No less than 14 events will be organized between August and December. He will carry a prize money of Rs 11 crore.
The Tata Steel PGTI Players Championship – 2022, presented by KGISL, will be played at Coimbatore Golf Club from August 17-20, marking PGTI’s return to Coimbatore after eight years. The following week, PGTI will hold its first-ever event at TNGF Cosmo Golf Course and return to Chennai after four years with hosting the third edition of the Chennai Open Golf Championship from August 23-26.
Jammu Tawi Golf Course in Jammu will be another new venue for the tour as the Featured J&K Open, held in Srinagar, in its inaugural edition in 2021 moves from Kashmir Valley to Jammu region. The event will take place from September 7 to 10.
Thereafter, the fifth edition of the Jaipur Open will be held at the Rambagh Golf Club from September 14 to 17. It will be followed by the sixth edition of the Pune Open at the Poona Club Golf Course from October 19-22 and the second edition of the MP Cup scheduled for October 26-29.
Kapil Dev-Grant Thornton Invitational
The first Kapil Dev-Grant Thornton Golf Invitational, with a Rs 1-crore prize pool, is scheduled for November 1-4. The Indian Oil Servo Masters Golf will return for its 22nd edition. The tournament will take place from November 16-19 at Digboi Golf Links.
Vooty Masters, also offering a Rs 1 crore scholarship, is scheduled for November 24-27 at Vooty Golf County in Vikarabad, Telangana. The eighth edition of the Golconda Masters will be played from November 30 to December 3 at the Hyderabad Golf Association. The third new event to be launched worth Rs 1 crore is the SSP Chawrasia Invitational presented by TAKE. It will take place at the Royal Calcutta Golf Club from December 8 to 11. This is the second event named after an Indian golf legend after the Jeev Milkha Singh Invitational.
The season-ending TATA Steel Tour Championship will carry a record purse of Rs 3 crore. Its prices have been increased by 100% this year. The event featuring the top 60 of the Order of Merit along with some invitations will be held at Golmuri & Beldih Golf Courses in Jamshedpur from December 15-18.
