Agreement between Apex Group and Cricket West-Indies

Apex Group Cricket West Indies: Apex Group, a global provider of financial, sustainability and environmental services, will be featured prominently on global television broadcast, as well as major showcase and box office brand placements, and the Apex logo will also appear on the chest of the West Indies test kit for the duration of the Apex test series. Apex will have access to the Caribbean team for activation and marketing content and will offer several sustainability initiatives involving the participation of Caribbean stakeholders.

CWI‘s and Apex Sustainability Partnership began in October 2021, ahead of the ICC T20 Men’s World Cup with the Apex branding appearing on the West Indies ICC T20 World Cup jersey.

Apex provides sustainability and environmental consulting services over a three-year period as CWI’s exclusive sustainability partner.

The Apex Test Series will be played for the new Richards-Botham Trophy, named for legends Sir Vivian Richards and Lord Ian Botham.

The Apex Test series appropriately opens at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua from March 8-12, followed by the second Apex Test at Kensington Oval, Barbados from March 16-20. The third and final competition will take place at Grenada’s idyllic National Stadium from March 24-28.

The three Apex Test matches are part of the ICC World Test Championship, with the West Indies and England vying for points to qualify for the World Test Championship Final in 2023.

With the rivalry between the West Indies and the England that dates back almost a hundred years, this deeper partnership with Apex allows CWI to make cricket more sustainable as we move towards a second century of cricket in the West Indies and build the next generation of cricketers across the Caribbean.

MATCH CALENDAR

Apex Test Series, West Indies v England (10am local / 9am Jamaican time)

  • March 8-12: 1st Apex Test at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Antigua
  • March 16-20: 2nd Apex test at Kensington Oval, Barbados
  • March 24-28: 3rd Apex Test at Grenada National Stadium, Grenada
