Barcelona will face a colossal UEFA Champions League task when they face Bayern Munich in their final group stage game. The European game is a do or die for the Catalan giants as they face Benfica for second place in Group E.

Bayern Munich is in a league of its own as it occupies the head of its Champions League group. Despite the lack of key players, the Bavarians have been in sensational form and have won all five of their games in Europe this season.

Lewandowski and his Bayern Munich side are expected to take their anger out on the Champions League game against Barcelona. ??

Barcelona, on the other hand, have had a scorching campaign so far. The Catalan giants sit second in their Champions League group, having won two, lost two and drawn so far. Barcelona desperately need a win to confirm their place in the Champions League round of 16.

Barcelona suffered a shock defeat to Real Betis in their previous La Liga game. Xavi’s men undoubtedly face an uphill battle against the mighty Bavarians in their own backyard.

On that note, let’s take a look at five players who could decide the outcome of Bayern Munich’s game against Barcelona in the Champions League.

# 5 Serge Gnabry | Bayern Munich

Serge Gnabry has become one of Bayern Munich’s most consistent players in recent campaigns. As well as being technically proficient, the winger is blessed with an explosive pace and prolific finishing abilities. He has scored eight goals and four assists in all competitions so far this campaign.

Gnabry has scored three goals in four Champions League games so far. The 26-year-old can again play a central role against Barcelona with his marauding runs stretching the Blaugrana defense and troubling their full-backs.

Gnabry will surely be a player to watch. He can change the complexion of the tie at any time.

# 4 Ronald Araujo | Barcelona

One of Barcelona’s most promising assets, Ronald Araujo, is surely proving his worth at Camp Nou. The Uruguayan defender is now a vital presence in Blaugrana’s defense. He’s also good with the ball at his feet, which is why Xavi prefers him in the starting lineup.

Araujo has been one of the few bright spots for Barcelona in a disappointing campaign so far. The center-back will have a huge stain on his hands to keep Bayern Munich forwards quiet. A clean sheet against the Bavarians could pave the way for their qualification for the knockout stages of the Champions League.
