2021 Farleigh Hospice Photography Competition open for entries

A hospice in Chelmsford, Essex is calling on budding photographers to participate in its annual photography competition.
The annual Farleigh Hospice Photography Competition is now open for entries and closes June 20, 2021.
This year’s competition aims to find the photographs that perfectly sum up the beauty of Essex. Entrants can submit up to ten photographs for judging and the winning photos will be used in the Farleigh Hospice 2022 calendar.
The brief is open, the only specification being that the photograph is taken in Essex.
From shots of the green spaces and chocolate box villages of Essex to footage of long-awaited reunions with loved ones at a favorite location, participants can shoot whatever they want as long as the location of the photo be based in Essex.
Graham Fisher, Digital Marketing Manager at Farleigh Hospice, said: “It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned snapper or just like to snap a photo or two on your phone, all entries are welcome as long as they’re taken in. the limits of Essex.
“With this year’s competition, we want to show off the beauty of our great county. We are so lucky in Essex to be surrounded by so much beauty, which is why we have decided to make Essex the theme for this year’s competition.
“Every penny raised through the sale of the calendar will go to help our care teams provide life-saving care and support to anyone affected by a life-threatening illness and bereavement in central Essex.

The Farleigh Hospice 2022 Calendar will be on sale from October and will be available through the Annual Farleigh Hospice Christmas Catalog, at all Farleigh Hospice stores and can also be ordered from the Farleigh website.
